Legal FAQ

What is Dealer Curator?

Dealer CURATOR is a cloud-based inventory and ads management platform. Our platform permits registered users to collect, manipulate and manage inventory and advertisements online and integrate the content into other advertising platforms through an application programming interface. Our typical customer can be a marketing agency using Dealer Curator on behalf of the agency's clients to serve ads based on the client's inventory. Dealer Curator is a platform managed by Dealer Curator, LLC

What kind of content is stored in Dealer Curator?

Dealer CURATOR uses a database to store user data. Your team can use Dealer Curator to generate, store and manage inventory in a variety of formats. As a rule, all the inventory content is intended for the wider public and is accessible through your client's websites. The public nature of this content means it is not subject to confidentiality or privacy restrications.

Since Dealer Curator was built from the ground up to serve inventory feeds on advertising platforms, this has certain legal and technical implications for the type of content you store on our platform. You should be fine storing typical inventory and advertising contents which includes:

  • Vehicle Inventory and Information (e.g New Vehicles from Dealership)
  • Facebook Ads Info (e.g Facebook Catalogs, Ads, Pixel)
  • Agency's Client Location (e.g address where vehicles are located)
  • Search Trends for Vehicles/Agency's Clients

We strongly discourage you from storing any sensitive, regulated, or ephemeral content on our platform, including:

  • Any personal data (also known as personally identifiable information, or PII). Because our service is intended for public information that you wish to serve to an audience, we specifically do not allow personal data that is sensitive or so called special categories of personal data ( as these are defined in applicable laws), or any regulated data (which may include data such as health, medical or financial data).

How does Dealer Curator deal with data protection regulations?

Dealer Curator has its main offices Plano, Texas. We therefore follow the strict California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We apply the same strict policy and practices throughout our organization.

If you are using the Dealer Curator web app to manage your content, Dealer Curator requires the user’s name, email address and web app password and logs the IP address of the web app user. These are necessary pieces of information that are required for Dealer Curator to provide the service, authenticate users and protect the service and your content.

Where is customer content and customer personal data stored?

We use certified and secure servers provided by Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Firebase for Authentication, Database, File Storage and Site Hosting. We use Stripe for Invoicing, Subscription and Payment processing.

Why would my organization want to use Dealer Curator?

Dealer Curator provides the ready-to-use infrastructure for powering your content-driven ad campaigns. Thanks to our service, your team can channel its efforts to providing high business value and launching new campaigns quickly, instead of coding and maintaining the underlying functionalities.
By focusing on developing, managing and scaling inventory, ads and trend insights for customers, Dealer Curator can ensure that your Ads perform better and your data works for you. All this, at a fraction of the cost it takes to achieve similar performance levels with an in-house team.

Can we pay by check, wire transfer or Credit Card?

Our service is built with the highest degree of automation in mind, which permits us to offer plans at relatively lower prices.
Adding custom payment terms or payment methods would result in high running costs and make the current plan prices untenable. For this reason, we only accept payments through Bill.com or Credit Card/ACH both of which are powered and secured by Stripe.
